Terms & conditions

* APPOINTMENT/SCHEDULE

At VGMA we have certain policies that governs our models given our mode of operations. below are as follows:

  1. Models under VGMA scheduled for a photo-shoot/event/job agree to be on time at designated venue. For instance, if the shoot/event is 9:00am, the model is to be present at the venue at least 40 minutes before the shoot/event commence. If models late punctuality leads to termination of contract by it’s proposed client such model is found liable for his/her incompetent act. Agency will have to strike out the next four jobs in a roll by default. Pending when this strikes has been completed, model will be on suspension.
  2. Models under VGMA must inform us immediately or before the job schedule if he/she will be available to attend. Peradventure if such model declares not to be attending, a written note to that effect should be sent directly to the agency stating reasons for unavailability. This should be done a week prior to the time at which job alert was sent.
  3. Agency representative makes reminder calls to the model as follows. -1st reminder- a day prior to the shoot/event -2nd reminder- minimum of 4-6 hrs before schedule -3rd reminder- 40 minutes before shoot/event This calls are to be acknowledged as to keep us updated on any unforeseen circumstances, passing across prompt information.

* LAWS/REGULATIONS

  1. Model agrees not to involve in any illegal activities defined by law guiding such region. If found, agency has rights to inform concerned authorities to take legal actions against such model.
  2. Once there is an agreement between the model and the agency and a sub-contract is drafted, such model is automatically defined as VGMA model and thereby to adhere to all guild lines and instruction stated in the contract. A contracted model has no legal right to work with any other agency or attend job posts within the speculated time of contract signed, without the consent of VGMA. Such act is stated as bridge of contract and also attract legal actions. in most cases, outright termination of contract.
  3. Model privileges/requests offered to models by clients that are non-work related to VGMA activities will not be associated to VGMA. Therefore VGMA claims non-responsibility for unforeseen disaster associated with such act.
  4. During and after a job contract with client, model agrees not to disclose or provide sensitive information to client which is not in line with the contract deal. Models personal details, phone numbers/address should not be issued to a client. If there be any bridge in this guideline, agency will not be held responsible for any inappropriate act or damages incurred in form of human or properties.
  5. Model agrees to keep all the information about the clients including the client’s name and remuneration details confidential.
  6. Model informs Agency at the time of job closure.
  7. Model agrees to treat the items that he/she is modeling with, with utmost care. Model will be responsible for any item used. If the model notice anything wrong with such an item issued for modeling at any time(stain, rip, loose button etc) he/she should alert the authorities present at the location.
  8. Once a model has accepted a job offer, such model is expected to complete job task and not leave in the mid-way. Mischievous act of such grade automatically gives such model two strikes in a roll, and if repeated twice such model will incur a four months suspension.
  9. Model is expected to put on good behavioral attitude, while representing the agency in any job forum. Peradventure if clients or any other personnel misbehave, such a model is to report such act immediately to the agency. If matters get severe resulting to threat to life, such model has right and the full authorization of the agency to terminate/abort job, thereby leaving the premises immediately or calling the help line issued to them by the agency which is close to their region.

13 Model agrees not to bring second/third party(friends/family members) to any job post/location.

  1. Issues related to shoot/event/jobs and more should not be discussed with the clients. Client must speak to the Agency directly if proposing to use a VGMA model.
